Design Your Own Initiative

Choose from existing improvement initiatives in diabetes, cancer screening, advance directives, chronic pain, CKD, RA, and reproductive health or give us a call to design an improvement initiative.

Our QI experts have designed easy to use tools to guide your team through the improvement process. All participants received CME/CE credit and physicians can receive MOC Part IV credit from most ABMS member boards.

Quality Improvement Initiatives

Chronic Pain

Six Midwestern practices tackled opioid prescribing. Not only did they improve implementation of guideline care, they improved team work and communication.

Advance Directives

Practices across California engaged their patients in conversations on advanced directives. Teams reported increased confidence with these important topics.

Cancer Screening

Nebraska practices gathered forces to increase the rate of colon cancer screening to bend the needle on community health.

Diabetes

ACOs and clinic systems continue to improve diabetes management. Quality measures are aligned with payer objectives to simplify reporting.

Population Medicine

Often the first step is identifying the needs of all the patients under your care.  RA practices implemented systematic population management and are working to lower the RA disease burden.  Listen to their stories and begin your own population improvement work.

Reproductive Health

Optimal care for women of childbearing years includes asking patients about their reproductive health plan.  Using the One Key Question, you can engage your patients in meaningful conversation to support either contraception or pre-natal services.
