Targeted Issues   Relevant Education   For Your Changing Practice

The field of internal medicine is constantly changing.  As such, a comprehensive review of the most important advances in internal medicine and its sub-specialties is essential for all medical professionals who care for adults.  This symposium is designed to do just that! 

Expert faculty of the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health has planned an exceptional, in-depth review that covers the breadth of internal medicine.  Emphasis will be placed on the latest advances in the basic science, the pathophysiology, and the clinical management of common medical problems seen by the internist.  Please join us in December, 2010 as many of the University of Wisconsin's best medical educators share their knowledge and experience with our colleagues in the community.

Accreditation Statement

The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education  to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement

The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health  designates this educational activity for a maximum of 22 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Education Units

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, as a member of the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA), authorizes this program for 2.2 continuing education units (CEUs) or 22 hours.
